Litter Box Services

Litter box maintenance is a great service for those who are in need of assistance in caring for their cat's box including those who don't like dealing with their litter boxes, have cat or dust allergies, pregnant and/or disabled and/or elderly people, and those who are too busy to stay on top of it on a regular basis. Clean litter boxes are crucial to your cat's overall health and well-being and can prevent paw, skin and urinary tract infections, as well as behavioural issues (eg. going outside of the box), and should be as much a priority as food and water.

Deep Clean

One time service to do a complete clean and changeover of up to 2 litter boxes:

Emptying the current litter
Cleaning/disinfecting the box
Refilling the box with fresh litter
Any required box area cleanup/organization:
- Vacuum/sweep
- Wipe down any urine stains/messes in litter box area
Clean and/or dispose of existing tools (e.g. scoops)
Optional set up of a newly purchased litter box and/or disposal system (e.g. Litter Locker, Litter Genie, compost bin etc.)

If you're wanting a recurring scheduled service, please select "Monthly Service."

Monthly Service

Recurring full changeover service every 4-6 weeks. Includes the servicing of 2 litter boxes before additional fees:

Emptying the current litter
Cleaning/disinfecting the box
Refilling the box with fresh litter for the month
Minor box area cleanup - vacuum/sweep, tidying
Disposing of trash in green bin/garbage*
Clean and/or dispose of existing tools (e.g. scoops)
Optional service to set up a newly purchased litter box and/or disposal system (e.g. Litter Locker, Litter Genie, compost bin etc.), free of charge

Clients must commit to 3 months before booking. Feel free to try it out with a one-time deep clean before committing!

Weekly Service

Weekly recurring service that allows people who are unable to keep up with their cat's routine litter box maintenance for whatever reason! Includes the servicing of 2 litter boxes two or three times per week:

Maintenance scooping
Surface tidying (sweep/vacuum scattered litter)
Disposal of waste in home garbage/green bin

Rates are charged per week.

Clients must commit to 1 month before booking.

Terms and Conditions

1. An appropriate litter box(es) and enough litter to fill 3-4 inches per box must be present at each service visit. Please notify sitter if these will not available at booked time and we can reschedule once you obtain these items. Cancellation policy applies.

2. Sitter will not dispose of litter waste into bins located in the basement or parking lot of a apartment/condo building or townhome complex, or any location outside the immediate radius of the residence's building for safety purposes.

3. Should the sitter deem your litter box set up be incompatible with the health and safety of your cat and you refuse to make the necessary changes identified by the sitter, the sitter has the right to cancel any recurring weekly and/or monthly bookings. Services may resume should the client implement the necessary changes.

4. Cleaning of toilets and toilet training items used by cats is not offered.
